Since our first party in 2006, this event has grown steadily in importance, popularity and size over subsequent years, until this, our 4th Christmas Party, the families were ready and waiting for us to arrive and all 44 children were eagerly anticipating the festivities. It was an absolute joy of a day: many ladies turned out to help and join in the games. Santa was perfect - huge thanks to him for taking the time out of his busy schedule to attend our little gathering. Ozzy the Clown and his assistant Ozzy Junior, entertained royally and the piñata was, quite literally, a hit! For many of these children, it will be their only party this Christmas, and for some the gift that the Ladies of the group generously donated may be their only present of the season. Parties like these are so important, and the hard work and generosity is repaid a thousand-fold in the faces of those wonderful children." |
